Katie Holmes was 29 on Tuesday so Tom Cruise took her for a romantic night without the children at the Raffles L'Ermitage Beverly Hills.

Gossip guru Perez Hilton has a video of the pair leaving the hotel on their way to lunch.

According to the hotel's website:

Elegance prevails at Raffles L'Ermitage, Beverly Hills where 119 'intelligent' guest rooms including 19 suites, showcase artistic, contemporary decor with a delicate infusion of Euro-Asian ambience.

Even the climate and lighting control systems are high-tech. The INNCOM system, an 'intelligent' computer, automatically adapts to the individual guest's lighting and climate preferences. Additionally, guests can control all lighting from the comfort of their beds. And when the time for 'plug and play' comes to fruition we'll be ready. The hotel is completely wired to adapt to fibre-optic access.

All rooms have balconies overlooking the city of Beverly Hills or the hills of Beverly Hills and Bel Air. Starting at 600 square feet, Zagat Survey claims that Raffles L'Ermitage Beverly Hills has "the largest rooms in LA".

Oh, and Britney Spears was staying there that night too.
