Did they or didn't they? Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's alleged wedding has been the subject of much speculation this week, but according to E! News, they DID tie the knot last Wednesday, April 30 on Windermere Island, just off Eleuthera, Bahamas.
The site reports:
The ceremony took place on Carey's private estate on Windermere Island, just off Eleuthera. As for a potential honeymoon, a source tells E! News that as of Thursday night, Carey and Cannon were still on the island. It's unclear when the couple of less than two months first arrived in the tropical paradise. Cannon appeared live on MTV Monday afternoon.
But per Bahamian law, couples are required to have spent at least one day in the island nation before they can get a marriage license, and bride and groom are required to show birth certificates or passports, as well as fork over the requisite $40.

About Windermere Island
- It's only 5 miles long
- It has a pink sand beach running its entire length
- It sits off the Atlantic coast of Eleuthera
- It's accessed by a guarded bridge; entrance is limited to residents and their guests
- There are no shops, hotels or guest house accommodations although some residents rent their homes to the public

Mariah Carey is too good for that idiot. :(
