Movie star Matthew McConaughey was robbed of his cellphone and $2,000 (£1,000) in cash during a recent surfing trip to Nicaragua, according to malefirst.co.uk.

Allegedly, the thieves struck while the actor was passed out in his hotel room after a drinking session at a bar in San Juan Del Sur. 

Apparently the actor had stood on a table earlier in the evening and asked fellow patrons to "help him find his flip flops".  He was then escorted back to his hotel room by drinking buddies who forgot to lock the door when they left. 

Sources said that:

"Matt didn't report the robbery to the local authorities. I guess he just considered it a lesson learned".

According to the Daily Mail, Camilla went paddling at Llangranog in West Wales, then went for a walk up the headland, "ending her hour-long visit with another British holiday tradition - sitting on a wall with an ice cream cone"

Tennis ace Chris Evert has married golfing legend Greg Norman during a sunset ceremony at the One & Only Ocean Club resort on Nassau's Paradise Island, according to an exclusive on People website.

Norman, also known as  'The Shark', and Evert, former World No 1 for seven years, paid around $2 million to tie the knot on Saturday in front of 140 family and friends including singer-songwriter Corey Hart. 

According to reports the event began on Friday with a golf and tennis tournament for guests.

Minnie Driver has been spotted enjoying a paddle with her baby bump on a Malibu beach. 

According to reports, the actress, who is seven months pregnant with her first child, was attending a baby shower thrown in her honour by her best friend.  The Daily Mail has some pictures if you're interested.

Newly-weds Wayne and Coleen Rooney have been spotted attending a George Michael concert at the MGM Grand Hotel while on honeymoon in Las Vegas.

According to reports:  

The couple spent the first week of their honeymoon relaxing on a beach after a £3million wedding in Portofino, Italy.

Wayne and Coleen were expected to spend a couple more days in America before jetting home.  

Heather Mills is reported to be dating holiday rep Jamie Walker, who she met whilst staying at the luxury Abama Hotel in Gula de Isora last month.

According to the News of the World, Mills fell for Walker "after she saw him caring for daughter Beatrice at the kids club". According to sources:

"She went over to talk to him with her nanny and there was an instant spark.

"The next day, Heather got her nanny to call Jamie to say, 'You know that woman you were talking to, would you like to go out to dinner with her?' Jamie was miffed that Heather hadn't bothered to ask him out herself. But he agreed to go.

"It was a secret operation because hotel staff aren't allowed to mix with the guests. Heather and Jamie managed two secret dinner dates before she returned to England."

Wayne Rooney is reportedly furious with team-mate Rio Ferdinand for not showing up at his and Coleen's exclusive Portofino wedding, despite them forking out £100,000 for him and his wife Rebecca to be there.

So where was he? Holidaying in Tel Aviv and staying at Intercontinental's David Tel Aviv hotel with brother Anton and ex-Leeds player, Jody Morris.

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole and footballing love-rat husband, Ashley, have been spotted on holiday in Puerto Banús, Marbella.

Puerto Banus is a luxury marina and shopping complex built in 1970 for the jet-set and the super rich.

According to Wikipedia

the opening of the complex was attended by, amongst others, the Aga Khan, Roman Polanski, Hugh Hefner and Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco. A youthful Julio Iglesias was contracted to sing for the guests for the enormous sum of 125,000 pesetas. An army of 300 waiters from Seville served 50 pounds of beluga caviar to the 1,700 guests.

Anyway, reports in The Sun say that Ashley "has spared no expense on the trip to impress shattered Cheryl, 24".  

The couple's trip was cloaked in secrecy and they even took separate flights from the UK.

A Spanish source said: "He booked it last-minute and didn't even bat an eyelid at the cost."

The trip is a welcome break from filming for new X Factor judge Cheryl, while Ashley is preparing to start training for the new season.

It is the latest in a string of attempts by Ashley to patch up the marriage.

He sent Cheryl balloons and flowers while she was on tour but blundered by texting her about them before they arrived.

Supermodel Kate Moss, Kate's daughter Lila Grace and Kills guitarist boyfriend Jamie Hince were spotted on a trip to Istanbul earlier this week.

... in the Turkish capital for a style shoot, Kate used her time in the city to also attend the opening of an exhibition of images by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot. The duo shot the ad campaign for her new fragrance Velvet Hour.

Keanu Reeves is holidaying on the French Riviera with girlfriend China Chow and our friends over at Popsugar have some photos of the lovebirds having a splashing time.

The fabulous Perez Hilton has spotted the equally fabulous Tyra Banks in Amsterdam - apparently she's filming the next cycle of America's Next Top Model (all together now... lala lala laaalaaa, lala lala la-lala.. wanna be on topppppp) .  Ahem.

Naomi Campbell is putting her courtoom woes on hold and relaxing with a cruise around the Mediterranean island of Capri with new beau, Marcus Elias.

The Daily Mail reports:

The fiery supermodel, 38, has been dating Brazilian entrepreneur Marcus Elias on and off since February, but the couple have been inseparable since reuniting at the Cannes Film Festival last month.

During a romantic cruise around the Italian island of Capri, the couple couldn't keep their hands off each other as they cuddled on their boat and frolicked in the Mediterranean.

Dry your eyes ladies!  Footballing dreamboat Wayne Rooney has only gone and married Coleen McLoughlin in a civil ceremony this morning at Villa Durrazo, Italy.

According to the Daily Mail

The happy couple said their vows at the 300-year-old villa in Santa Margherita today and are now believed to be heading straight for a nearby abbey for the blessing.

22-year-old Coleen cried at the ceremony, while footballer Wayne chose not to wear a tie for the short service. Both had a male and a female witness respectively.

The wedding vows were said in Italian and translated by Liverpudlian priest Father Edward Quinn, who was flown over specially for the occasion.

Frasier star Kelsey Grammer has suffered a mild heart attack while swimming on Kona beach, Hawaii. 

According to reports

Kelsey's heart stopped for a few seconds, that's for sure. He was then admitted to the Kona Community hospital where he was treated. Soon after he was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in Honolulu. I think he went for more tests there. The doctors treated this very seriously.

Sporting legends from the world of football, cricket and netballing will be coaching kids for free at the Barbados Sports Camp held between 5 - 29 August this year.


Football coaches include Alan Hansen, Mark Bright, Sir Geoff Hurst and Peter Shilton.  Cricket coaches include Gladstone Small, Mike Gatting, Desmond Haynes and Wayne Daniel.  Netball coaches include Olivia Murphy, Alex Astle, Kendra Slawinski and Fiona Murtagh.

The annual event, which launched last year, is available to both local and visiting children aged 9 to 17 and will be held at the University of West Indies sports ground in Bridgetown.

Participation is strictly first-come, first-served with places limited to 100 children per sport, per day... parents can register online at the Barbados Sports Camp website.
