Did you know that Wham's Club Tropicana video was filmed at Pikes Hotel in Ibiza?
The hotel seems to be a bit of a favourite with celebs: Grace Jones and Julio Iglesias are regulars and according to the Pikes website, Freddie Mercury took over the resort in 1987 for his birthday celebrations.
The song was seen at the time to be having a bit of a dig at the Club 18-30 holiday scene; the video continued the travel theme with George Michael and Andrew Ridgley dressed up as pilots and Dee and Shirley as stewardesses.
