Well, according to reports, it's the Hyatt Regency in downtown Chicago.

"Mr Obama spent the early evening playing a game of basketball with old friends from Chicago - a now traditional election day activity for him. Later he was expected to settle down to watch election returns at the city's Hyatt Regency hotel before heading to an open-air post-election rally in Butler Field in Grant Park."

And while celebs such as Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Sean ''Diddy'' Combs, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins and Ben Affleck were reportedly asked to "skip the Chicago festivities and focus on attending the expected Obama inauguration in January", a certain Ms Oprah Winfrey WAS at Grant Park and is assumed to have joined Obama, his family and his inner circle at his hotel suite at the Hyatt Regency

Apparently many hotels near the post-election rally in Grant Park were virtually sold out, with the general manager of the Hilton Chicago reporting a "a 500% increase in reservations."

Maybe he stayed at a holiday inn express last night. That's why he's so confident.

If I was him I'd find the biggest most luxurious bed, in the quietiest area, and chill for a few days. :)
