Benicio del Toro was spotted doing a spot of shopping at über trendy concept store Colette in the ultrachic Saint-Honoré fashion district of Paris.
I assume he was looking for something decent to replace that ghastly orange New York Knicks baseball cap...
What were you thinking, Benicio?
Benicio is in Paris to promote his new film, Che and was at the film premiere last night with director Steven Soderbergh and producer Laura Bickford (see below)
Directed by Steven Soderbergh, 'Che' stars starring Benicio del Toro as Ernesto "Che" Guevara and is actually two films, 'The Argentine' and 'Guerrilla', merged together.
The first focuses on the Cuban revolution, from the moment Fidel Castro, Guevara and other revolutionaries landed on the Caribbean island, until they toppled the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista two years later.
The second deals with the years following the Cuban revolution, starting with Che's trip to the United Nations headquarters in New York City in 1964, until his death in the Bolivian mountains in 1967.
Del Toro won the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Festival for his portrayal of Guevara in the films.
