Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman and newcomer, Brandon Walters, the stars of Baz Luhrmann's epic, Australia, were out in force promoting the film at its world premiere in Sydney.

11-year-old Brandon, who plays Nullah, an aboriginal horseman, was picked from obscurity after being spotted with his father at the local pool by a casting director.
Tourism Australia have worked closely with 20th Century Fox over the last two years to promote both the film and the destination with Baz Luhrmann also directing two 'Walkabout' adverts for the country.

"We knew that this huge film would create a wave of publicity that would put the country in the spotlight around the globe," said Geoff Buckley, managing director of Tourism Australia. "And we found that the film's story had a remarkable resonance for what we do marketing the country as a travel destination."
