Psst. Fancy sleeping in the same room as American president Barack Obama? Well you can if you head to Kenya...
Since Obama stayed at eco-camp Basecamp Masai Mara during his trip to Kenya in 2006, his room has become very popular with visitors, a fact the camp plans to use to market itself.

The permanent tent, now christened 'Obama Room', is set on the banks of river Talek overlooking the Masai Mara National Game Reserve and costs USD $470 per night (GBP £328.791)
Simply furnished, it has a wooden porch, a hammock for general relaxation and wildlife spotting, a bed, two three-legged African stools and a table bearing photos of President Obama and some of the camp's employees.
The camp's general manager, Ms Annette Bulman, believes the main reason Obama stayed at Basecamp Masai Mara was because of its environmental sustainability record.
Basecamp Masai Marai has been awarded a gold rating by Ecotourism Kenya for its eco-tourism facilities and sustainability based on required standards for environmental protection and social responsibility. Only two establishments in Kenya have received the gold certification.
