Andrew Strauss and Freddie Flintoff along with the rest of the English Cricket Team and support staff stayed at The Landings at Rodney Bay, St Lucia, during their recent tour of the West Indies.
The luxury resort, which opened in December 2007 offers one, two and three-bedroom residence villas in a harbor community. According to its website, it spans 19 acres and nearly 800 feet of beachfront, will be opening in four phases with 231 suites once complete in 2010.
Amenities include a 7,000 square-foot RockResorts Spa, Fitness Gallery,The Beach Club, and an open-air restaurant which according to its website offers "the most beautiful Caribbean resort dining experience in St. Lucia".
Richard Lyon, MD at The Landings said "Several of the players said they want to come back with their families, and we are hopeful that England will be based in St Lucia for the 20:20 World Cup next year so they can return to The Landings."
