Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar was spotted at SeaWorld San Diego on September 28 while on a behind-the-scenes tour.

The actress, who was at the park with friends, met penguins, sharks, beluga whales and killer whales and is photographed meeting a rather friendly bottlenose dolphin.

Don't they look happy? This lovely photo of the Nixon family was taken back on June 14 1959 during a trip to Disneyland, California.

When this photo was taken, Nixon had been Vice President of the United States since 1953 and Disneyland had been open for nearly four years (July 17 1955).

Nixon was later elected to the presidency in 1968 and re-elected in 1972, defeating Democratic candidate George McGovern by one of the widest margins on record.

However Nixon is is most famous (or is that infamous?) for his part in the 'Watergate' scandal which lead to his resignation in August 1974 - so far he is the only US President to have resigned from the post.

I sat next to an airline employee who often deals with his company's celeb passengers... needless to say I spent the flight quizzing him about how the rich and famous behave

Beyonce in Miami

Beyonce has been spotted swimming and sunbathing with her family this weekend while staying at the Miami Beach Hotel

The star was in Florida as guest of honour at a gala in aid of the the Miami Children's Hospital Foundation in which she was inducted into its Hall of Fame.

The event - which was held at the AmericanAirlines Arena - saw performances from Motown legend Smokey Robinson and disco diva Gloria Gaynor.

Found an amazing photo from 1962 of screen legend Elizabeth Taylor in Gstaad with two of her children.

Apparently it was around this time that Liz went into hiding at her chalet in the Swiss ski resort after her affair with Richard Burton went public.

Was she in hiding at the time of this photo?

Lilo and Sam Ronson have been spotted enjoying a lovely holiday in the Mexican resort of Los Cabos

According to reports the loved-up pair were spotted "puffing on cigarettes and playing scrabble".

DJ AM released from Georgia burns hospital

Some good news! DJ AM (real name Adam Goldstein) was released from a Georgia hospital on Saturday after the horric plane crash which killed four people.

Goldstein and former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker suffered second and third degree burns in the crash. Barker is still in hospital but expected to make a full recovery.

The pair were hospitalised after their learjet crashed on take-off from Columbia airport. The accident killed two pilots and two passengers (reported to be assistants to Barker).

According to reports

The Learjet shot off the end of the runway, ripped through a fence and crossed a highway before coming to rest. Officials with the National Transportation Safety Board have not said what caused the crash, but spokesman Peter Knudson said he expects the agency to release a preliminary report next week.

NTSB officials have said a cockpit voice recorder revealed that crew members thought a tire blew and tried to abort the takeoff. Investigators recovered pieces of tire from the runway.

Paul McCartney in Tel Aviv, Israel

Sir Paul McCartney played an historic concert in Tel Aviv, Israel on Thursday, more than 40 years after the Beatles were banned in 1965 for having "no artistic merit"

According to Sky News, "Macca's gig is still controversial"

He has faced death threats from Islamic extremists for playing in Israel and will be guarded like any other VIP visiting the country.

He has also been criticised by some Palestinians who argue for the boycott of Israel by foreign artists.

And where did the former Beatle stay? Why, he stayed at the Dan Tel Aviv Hotel of course. Dan Hotel is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World and according to their site "offers Tel Aviv's finest accommodation".

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel in Rome

When in Rome.... lovebirds Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have been spotted taking in the tourist attractions during a romantic Roman holiday.

According to reports however the singer wasn't prepared to stop for anyone, not even a Roman soldier.

The street entertainer in full costume shook hands with Justin then tried to give him a high five - but the star didn't look best impressed.

The Edge buys a brand new boat

U2 guitarist The Edge (David Howell Evans) has clubbed together with a group of mates to buy £12m luxury yacht The Cyan.

Recent rumours wondered if it was lead singer Bono who had purchased the yacht however the 49 year-old guitarist felt compelled to put the record straight last night with the Irish Independent, saying

It's not Bono's yacht at all, it's mine. Bono doesn't know a thing about boats.

"For years it was a dream of mine to own a yacht, but to be honest, it was a bit out of my league. So myself and a few friends got together, chipped in, and bought the Cyan. I don't know where the story that Bono owns it came from."

However, we at celebsonholiday think we know how the rumour started ...

Bono chartered the Cyan last year on his family holiday to Port Luise Di Mergellina, Naples, Italy

Edge and Bono own a luxury villa beside the beach in Eze-sur-mer on the French Riviera, where neighbours include superstars Elton John, Tina Turner and Michael Flatley.

CelebAir catch-up: who's been sacked?

Well, it's been a while since we looked at CelebAir and it would seem three of the celebs have been given the boot.

First to go was poor old "What Not To Wear" Mica Paris (who incidentally was the first woman to be kicked off Strictly Come Dancing last year).

According to the website, it was customer complaints over Mica and Dan's trolley service that sealed her downfall

"She looks flustered, the weave's coming out a bit and Dan looks a bit sporadic," TV's Andi Peters moaned in mid-air. "They're not doing it for me."

Then former Blazing ~~Saddles~~ sorry, Squad singer Kenzie was shown the door after committing the cardinal sin of "clowing around" during a safety demonstration.

Third to go was posh tottie Tamara Beckwith, who was confined to check-in duties after finding out she was pregnant. Though it's not entirely clear why the mentors gave her the heave-ho.

It's been a busy week for superstar Latino singer Jennifer Lopez.

First the 39 year old completed the Nautica Malibu Triathlon in two hours, 23 minutes.

Quick pause for breath then Lopez swiftly moved on to organising (and keeping secret) hubby Marc Anthony's surprise 40th birthday bash at the Bowery Hotel, New York.

Then, after departing for a supposedly "relaxing" European break (Portofino and St Tropez - there's a surprise), she's jetted out to Athens for two days to perform at the Olympic Stadium for the first leg of her World Tour, promote her latest boutique AND take part in a photo shoot at the Acropolis in Athens.

Oh, and in case you forgot, she gave birth to twins seven months ago!

Harry Potter star Emma Watson buys £1m ski chalet

Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, has dipped into her £10m earnings to purchase a £1m holiday home in Meribel.

According to reports, the pretty French-born actress (who lived in Paris until the age of five) will be be spending thousands more on improvements to the ski chalet, located in the French Alps.

Wealthy Watson - set to replace Keira Knightly as the face of Coco Mademoiselle in a deal reported to be worth £3m - took control of her earnings when she turned 18 this April

CelebAir... it's not that bad, actually

Elaine Clark, friend of Celebsonholiday, found herself booked on a CelebAir flight to Portugal earlier this week - here's what she had to say about the experience:

Arriving at Gatwick South Terminal, I discovered to my surprise that I was booked on a CelebAir flight. There at the check in desk was the glamorous Tamara Beckwith checking in passengers as they were being filmed by the ITV2 camera crew.

As I boarded the plane I was welcomed with a big smile from Chico who checked my boarding pass and directed me to my seat. Row 35A proved to be a lucky number as the crew was filming from the back of the plane forwards.

Following take off I couldn't quite take Chico seriously with his big grin on his face explaining the safety procedures, but was assured that all the Celebs had had three weeks intensive training by Monarch.

Lisa Maffia & Chico served tea, coffee and light refreshments. I had to remind Chico to give me my £1.50 change for my bacon sandwich, whilst Lisa struggled with the credit card machine for another customer. All in all it was a very relaxed flight and they did a great job.

About 15 mins into the flight two guys stood up and took their rucksacs from the overhead locker and disappeared into the toilets. Twenty-five minutes later they came out of the toilets dressed in gold & cerise sequinned dresses, blonde wigs & full make-up... the works, right down to the false eye lashes!

Chico, Lisa and the whole flight were in hysterics whilst the two of them then entertained all the passengers and gave Chico & Lisa a run for their money.
All in all Lisa & Chico did a great job and proved service with a smile goes a long way.

Pacific rower Roz Savage arrives in Hawaii

Roz Savage - who is attempting to become the first woman to row solo across the Pacific - has arrived in Waikiki, completing stage one of her three stage pan Pacific row.

Roz (in her 24ft rowboat named Brocade) has rowed some 2900 miles over a period of 99 days in a bid to highlight the importance of marine conservation and draw attention to the plight of the world's oceans.

The second part of her journey continues in early 2009 with a 2600 mile row to Tuvalu (a small island in the southwest Pacific), with the final stage of the 7600 mile journey ending in Australia.
